Bond has been set at $15,000 for a 30-year-old Centralia man who allegedly refused to stop for Centralia Police as they attempted to execute a traffic stop on Saturday.
TJ Chumley was formally charged in Marion County Court with felony aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude for not stopping from near the 4th and Walnut Street intersection until he got to Randolph Drive on the city’s west side. The charge says in doing so he violated at least two traffic control devices.
Chumley also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is accused of possessing a drug pipe.
Chumley had the public defender appointed to represent him.
