Patoka School Superintendent David Radamacher says the Marion County Sheriff’s Department Friday afternoon was able to quickly contain an alleged threat against a specific individual at the school.
He reports after investigating, the school district determined that it was a matter for law enforcement. Radamacher says school administrators immediately called law enforcement, who arrived rapidly to address the situation and had it contained within a few minutes. He reports they were also able to assure administrators there was no ongoing danger to students and staff.
Radamacher is thanking law enforcement for its ongoing efforts in this matter and for its continued visibility within the community.
He is releasing no further details about the nature of the threat.
