Nancy Clements, 69, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Nancy was of the Baptist Faith. She had a love for reading and always enjoyed a good book. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler. She will always be remembered for being an excellent sister, mother, grandmother, and great-mother to those she leaves behind.
Per Nancy Clements’ wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Nancy is survived by three daughters: Tammy Clements and fiancé Timothy Barber of Osceola, IN, Carrey Vogel and husband Douglas of Elkhart, IN, and Patricia Stickney of Mishawaka, IN; six grandchildren: Kaylee Arnold and husband Brian, Jordan Clements, Kyle McOwen, Adam Stickney, Dorthia Vogel, and Christina Vogel; four great-grandchildren: Zoey Rodriguez, Maddison Arnold, Zane Arnold, and Zander Clements; five brothers: Rick Potter and wife Joyce, Charles “Mike” Potter, Tom Potter, Douglas Potter and wife Dana, and Phillip Potter and wife Nancy; three sisters: Patty Kafuren, Alice Potter, and Becky Kramer; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Nancy was born December 13, 1950 in Centralia, the daughter of Clarence Potter and Helen (Blasdel) Potter. She married Elvin Clements on November 23, 1970 and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2010. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Elvin Clements, her parents: Clarence and Helen Potter, and three sisters: Debra Webb, JoAnn VanHaulst, and Susie Sizemore.
