The Marion County Health Department is reporting 94 new COVID-19 cases from Thursday through Monday.

The health department reported no new deaths over the Thanksgiving Holiday period.  Of the 94 new cases, none were residents of long term care facilities.  A dozen were students.  Contact tracing is underway for nine of them.  Three were not in school during their infectious period.  52 of the cases are considered community spread and 42 from household or close contacts.  All of the new positive cases are in isolation.

There are now 289 active cases, including 23 in the hospital and three on ventilators.  There were 220 who were released from isolation over the five day period, bringing the total number recovered to 1,679.

Clinton County reported 228 new positive cases between Thursday and Monday.  There are now 762 on home isolation and 15 who are hospitalized.

Jefferson County Health officials reported 161 new positive cases over the five day period.  There are now 218 active cases in isolation.

The Washington County Health Department reported 47 new lab-confirmed cases over the weekend and Monday.   There are now 107 active cases and six who are currently hospitalized.

The Fayette County Health Department is reporting 182 new positive cases since last Wednesday.

The Wayne County Health Department reported 14 new cases on Monday.  There are now 106 in isolation and four hospitalized.
