Centralia Mayor Herb Williams is encouraging citizens to wear a mask for their safety and the safety of others.
Williams feels through the combined effort of wearing a mask, social distancing, and handwashing, we can save lives and reduce the spread of COVID-19 together.
In a statement, he says it is imperative that everyone take steps to protect not only themselves but those around them. Williams is asking everyone to please continue to do your part in keeping yourself and those you come in contact with safe.
Williams is also extending thanks to all citizens of Centralia and surrounding communities for continuing to step up during this trying time. He says the efforts of the healthcare workers and all the public safety personnel that are on the frontlines of this pandemic has continued to be outstanding.
