A 26-year-old Odin woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 at the West Line Road east of Odin Tuesday afternoon.
State Police say a pickup truck driven by Jimmi Rice was stopped on eastbound U.S. 50 waiting to turn left onto West Line Road when she was struck in the rear by a semi driven by 62-year-old Sam Siddell of Carlyle.
Rice was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Siddell was not hurt.
Siddell was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 3:39 Tuesday afternoon.
