Walmart has announced it is once again monitoring and counting the number of customers entering its stores as COVID-19 cases increase across the country.
The same process will be used as in the spring with the number of customers restricted to about 20 percent of the store’s normal capacity. Walmart had stopped counting the number entering and leaving as restrictions relaxed over the summer.
A company official noted in a CNBC interview that the vast majority of time stores did not reach the self-imposed limit, but it will resume as an abundance of caution.
