The Farm Fresh store at 315 East Main in Salem has closed.
The store closed for business at noon Friday.
An employee said they were notified of the decision earlier this week after inventory at the store had been allowed to run down over the past few weeks. All remaining items will be moved to the two Farm Fresh stores in Centralia which will remain open.
The store apparently saw its business decline significantly last December when Chester Dairy was sold to Prairie Farms and no longer sold milk in glass bottles.
There were seven part-time employees at the store.
The building is expected to be put up for sale.
