Salem Police arrested a father and daughter following a domestic disturbance at their home late Thursday night. Police report 27-year-old Michelle Hester of East Olive called to report she had been battered by her father 51-year-old Bryan Hester of Hotze Road in Salem. Police took Bryan Hester into custody for domestic battery, but later during the investigation Michelle Hester allegedly shoved an officer and was arrested herself for aggravated battery to a police officer. Both were taken to the Marion County Jail until the State’s Attorney’s office makes a final decision on charges.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department made two separate arrests for domestic battery. 51-year-old Bradley Skibinski of Queens Avenue in rural Odin was arrested after an alleged fight with a family member at their residence. 19-year-old Dakota Day of Shuler Road in Salem was arrested for domestic battery for after an alleged altercation with a family member at his home. No injuries were reported in either incident. Both remain in the Marion County Jail pending a formal decision on the filing of charges.
43-year-old Jesse Wallace of Frazier Street in Centralia remains in jail after being arrested by Centralia Police for violation of bail bond.
A 42-year-old Centralia man has been returned from Nebraska by prisoner transport on two outstanding Marion County warrants. William Snell of West 7th is wanted for failure to appear for aggravated battery to a senior citizen and for failure to appear on a DUI charge. Bond is set at $15,000.
