Gary L. Patterson, 65, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 6:17 pm on November 6, 2020, at his residence.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 1:30 pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Gary’s honor to the Patterson family, in care of Sandra Patterson. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. He was born January 28, 1955, in Centralia, Illinois to the late George and Joyce (Moore) Patterson. Gary married Sandra (Hoffman) Patterson on April 12, 1976. They were blessed with 44 years of marriage.
In addition to his beloved wife, Gary is survived by his daughters, Melissa Patterson of Alton, Illinois and Amy Karabec and husband, Ryan of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Malliyah Lusch, Alexis Rice, Allison Rice, and Malyk Spiller; brothers, Richard Patterson and wife, Sherry and Donald Patterson and wife, Sharon, all of Centralia, Illinois; and sister, Sue Ann Hohman and husband, Alan of Carlyle, Illinois.
