Herbert Roger Wayne Wimberly Sr, age 67 of Kinmundy, died on October 1, 2020 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Graveside services for Roger Wimberly will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 9, 2020 at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorial contributions can be made to the Family and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
He is survived by his five children, Melissa Grams and husband Jason of Christopher, Kathy Wimberly of Kinmundy, Becky Wimberly of Kinmundy, Herbert Wimberly of Kinmundy and Alfred Wimberly of Salem; and ten grandchildren, Dawn Reiger, Duncan Reiger, Christina Wimberly, Ashlyn Logue, Athena Phillips, Adrianna Logue, Mason Phillips, Anthony Phillips, Trinity Phillips, and Remmington Jamison. Also survived by a good friend, Curtis Logue of Kinmundy.
Roger was born on January 31, 1953 in Salem, the son of Alfred Abraham and Nell (Kitchen) Wimberly. He married Christina (Patty) Wimberly and she preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
