The 12u Fuzion 08 played in their first tournament of the Fall season together finishing 6-0 beating Vengeance Elite 1-0 in the title game in Newburgh, Indiana. Over the tournament the Fuzion pounded out 44 hits and scored 45 runs. The defense was at .971 fielding percentage with 71 chances including turning a 2 double plays.
The pitching was outstanding with 4 combining to allow just 8 hits all tournament with 44 strikeouts and only 7 walks.
Head coach Shawn Rasul after the tournament said, “I’m extremely proud, and look forward to a great year together. A great way to grind out our first championship.”

The Fuzion scored 6 runs in the first inning to take their opening game victory. Taylor Desmith and Laney Slife combined for the no hitter in the circle allowing just 3 base runners with walks while striking out 7. At the plate, RBI came from Audrina Sloan, Danicah Tobin,
Marley Parrish, Kenzi Wilkerson and Alivia Rasul.
Game 2: Fuzion 15 Newburgh ICE 0
The Fuzion pitching followed up a no-hitter, allowing just 1 hit in their win over Newburgh. Danicah T went 3 innings allowing 1 hit and struck out 5. Arwyn Wilkey and Taylor Bloomer doubled with Danicah Tobin driving in 4 and Arwyn Wilkey 5. Marley Parrish added 2 RBI with runs driven in by Kenzi Wilkerson and Laney Slife.
Game 3: Fuzion 12 Red Alert Fish 0
The Fuzion earned a third straight shutout with this win. Taylor Desmith and Laney Slife combined in the circle for the win. Arwyn Wilkey and Marley Parrish doubled with Taylor Desmith adding a triple. Arwyn Wilkey drove in 3 runs, Marley Parrish added 2 with RBI also from Danicah Tobin, Taylor Desmith, Alivia Rasul and Taylor Bloomer.
Game 4: Fuzion 3 KP Fire 0
It was a grind out type of game to start Sunday as the Fuzion scraped 3 runs across in the first two innings and once again used solid pitching to get the job done. Danicah Tobin was the winner allowing just 3 hits. Lauren Baine and Arwyn Wilkey drove in the Fuzion runs.
Semifinals: Fuzion 6 Vengeance Elite 0
The Fuzion punched their ticket to the championship with their 5th straight shutout to open the tournament. Marley Parrish was the winning pitcher allowing no hits while striking out 8. Arwyn Wilkey tripled and drove in a pair. RBI also came from Alyssa Gebke, Taylor Bloomer and Alivia Rasul.

In a rematch of the semifinal, the Fuzion was able to score a run in the fourth inning on an RBI from Taylor Bloomer to get the win. Taylor Desmith and Danicah Tobin combined for the 1 hit victory.
