The Salem Lady Cats finished their regular golf season unbeaten after a 192-216 win at Green Hills Country Club over Mt Vernon. The win improves Salem to 9-0 on the 2020 season. Kenzie Anderson was low medalist shooting 2 over 38. Lauren Ice shot 46 and Laine Stinnett, Makenzie Mann, Taylor Ice and Alyssa Paul shot 53, 55, 57 and 58 respectively. Salem will travel to Alton for post season play n ext week on the Arnold Palmer designed Spencer T Olin Course. Qualifying teams and individuals from the field will then compete at the Salem Sectionals.
Christ Our Rock played on the front nine of the Greenview Golf Course. Chester won the dual meet 165-178 over the Stallions. Parker Boehne tied Jarret James for low medalist honors shooting 38. Also for Christ Our Rock, Matthew Slover shot 44, Josiah George 47 and Ajay Quick 49.
Jianna Palm shot 48 along with Jordynn Duensing for low medalist honors for the girls. Sandy Taylor added 61 as no team score was kept. Camryn Luthy led Chester with a 52.
