Eartha (Angel) Lesure-Thomas, 60, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:34 am July 24, 2021 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis. Eartha worked as a nurse for over forty years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lively Stone Apostolic Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Allen E. She was born August 20, 1960 in Coldwater, Mississippi to Oscar Gover and Annie Ruth Lesure. Eartha was preceded in death by mother, Annie Ruth Lesure; stepfather, Bobbie Jo Wilks; son, Mac Lesure; special father, James Churcher; and siblings, Barbara Littles, Cameron Gover, and Alicia Brown.
