Geneva Marshall, 89, of Odin passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Mrs. Marshall worked for Miss Elaine until she retired. Mrs. Marshall loved time she spent with her family and friends. She lived in Centralia most of her life.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2021, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. Friends are welcome to a visitation time from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2021, at the Herrin City Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Geneva’s honor to the First Church of God. Mrs. Marshall is survived by two daughter Linda Bivens and husband Bill, and Terri Splechter and husband Charles; two grandchildren Travis Bivens and wife Patty, and Casey Jo Pennington and husband Billy Jo; and two great-grandchildren Tyler Bivens, and Kaden Bivens.
She was born on March 9, 1932, the daughter of Robert and Diana (Wilson) Cook in Wolf Lake, Illinois. She married James A. Marshall on August 7, 1959. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Dave Cook, Clarence Cook, Robert Cook, and Richard Cook; sisters Neoma Walker, and Alma Walker.
