Joyce Annette Scott, 62, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 1:29 pm July 12, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Scott loved to travel to South Dakota, painting oil paintings in her beloved she-shed, playing slots, and going to flea markets. Joyce enjoyed giving hugs and candy bars to her fellow Walmart workers. She was a very loving person that adopted many shelter dogs and loved her family. Joyce will be dearly missed.

Joyce married Jack Scott on October 24, 1987 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In addition to her loving husband of nearly thirty-four years, Joyce is survived by her daughters, Melissa Keip of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Christina Brown of Mount Vernon, Illinois; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five wonderful nieces; and sister, Terri Hopkins and husband, Jerry of Evansville, Indiana.
She was born October 30, 1958 in Grafton, North Dakota to the late Elmo and Marlys (Daley) Kebodeaux. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Kebodeaux.
