Gwynn Marie Misialek-Harlow, aged 59, passed away on Friday afternoon, April 16th, 2021 in her home. She grew up in Minto, ND and graduated from Minto High School in 1979. She was active in Cheerleading and played the saxophone in the Minto High School Band. Gwynn graduated from Mayville State College in May of 1981 with an Associate of Arts degree. Later, she attended the University of North Dakota, and in May of 1989, graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. In 1991, she sat all elements of the North Dakota CPA exam and was registered a Certified Public Accountant. She very much enjoyed her work, particularly in the area of government finance, working both for the City of Dilworth, MN and Charlotte, NC. Gwynn was very creative and enjoyed many different crafts. She also loved UND Hockey. They will always be the Fighting Sioux to her. Gwynn liked travel and adventure. She rode many thousands of miles on motorcycle with her husband, camping along the way. Her favorite moments though, were spent on the almost daily calls from her loving son, Chad.

Funeral services for Gwynn will be Friday, April 30th at 10:30AM with a Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto, ND and interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A celebration of Gwynn’s life will follow at the Minto Community Center. Gwynn is survived by her husband of 20 years, Earl Harlow of Centralia, IL, her son Chad (Gordon) of Fargo, ND, step-children Sean (Brea) Harlow and their children Owen and Sylvia of Nashville, TN, Kim Falcetti and daughter Alyssa of Ware, MA, Robert Harlow of Nashville, TN, Donald (Danielle) Harlow and their children Tyler, Kynleigh, and Kiersten of Nashville, TN, Erin Maki and her daughter, Llewellyn of Iron River, MI. She is also survived by her mother, Genevieve Misialek of Grand Forks, ND, brother Lynn (Cheryl) and children Kyle, Kelsey, Kayley, and Kourtney of Grand Forks, ND, sisters Jennifer Nalewaja and children Noah, Sidney, Landon and Caden of Charlotte, NC, Sue (Steve) Ulven and their sons Lucas and Derek of Grand Forks, ND, DeAnn (Matthew) Hallaway and their children Joshua, Sophie, Cortland, and Liam of Fargo, ND, and sister-in-law Debbie (Brian) Misialek and children Alana and Logan of Minto, ND. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Gwynn Marie Misialek-Harlow was born the daughter of Leo and Genevieve (Wilmer) Misialek on October 9, 1961, in Grafton, North Dakota. Gwynn was preceded in death by her father, Leo, in 2014, her brother Brian in 2017, and her grandparents, Walter and Christine Misialek and Ellen and Alrick Wilmer.
