Brian Starr, 45, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Brian worked for Warren G. Murray Center in Centralia. Brian was known for his adventures in Metal Detecting. He would locate items for people over the years and return what he could to the owner. He was known for being an outdoorsman, and being an avid Arrowhead collector. He enjoyed playing darts and watching the St. Louis Blues and NASCAR. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and granddaughter, Lilian.
A Graveside Service For Brian Starr will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Brian was born December 8, 1975, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Marlin Rex Starr and Glenda (Finley) Sanders.
Brian is survived by his daughter: Kelsie Starr of Centralia; mother: Glenda Sanders and husband Michael of Centralia; one granddaughter: Lilian Green of Centralia; two brothers: Marlin Starr and wife Cammie of Centralia and Tim Starr and wife Kim of Sandoval; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his father: Marlin Rex Starr; grandparents: Ethel Finley and Milton and Gladys Starr; three uncles: Terry Finley, Roy Starr, and Ray Starr.
