Marylene McFarland of Centralia, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed reading. Marylene was a devoted wife to her husband Mac and a loving mother and grandmother to her sons and grandchildren. Marylene was an accountant for 50 plus years. She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Centralia.
Graveside Services for Marylene McFarland will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with Rev. Paula Comper officiating. Marylene is survived by two sons: Milton Cunningham and wife Vicki of Cornelius, NC and Barry McFarland and wife Christine of Houston, TX; six grandchildren: Angela Buchanan of Orlando, FL, Jason Cunningham of Atlanta, GA, Jenelle Coles and husband Arie of Sarasota, FL, Parker, Nicholas, and Christopher McFarland all of Houston, TX; four great-grandchildren: Isabella Buchanan, Kate Buchanan, Michael Cunningham, and Maya Cunningham.
She was born June 29, 1928, the daughter of Don Cunningham and Hazel (Phillips) Cunningham. She married James “Mac” E. McFarland on November 10, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents: Don and Hazel Cunningham and her husband: James “Mac” McFarland.
