Danny E. Wells, age 68 of Athens, Alabama formerly of Salem, passed away on February 28, 2021 at his home. Danny formerly worked for Salem Gravure in Salem and recently retired from BASF in Madison, AL. He was of the Baptist Faith.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Jason McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salem Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home. Survivors include two sons, Christopher Wells of Huntsville, AL and Jonathon Wells of Madison, AL; brothers, Dennis Taylor and wife Lynette of Carlyle and Aiden Taylor of Salem; grandchildren, Taylor and Jackson Wells of Huntsville, AL; and close friend Linda Wells of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Danny was born on June 17, 1952 in Fairfield, IL the son of Beryl Wells and Dorothy (Carroll) Wells Taylor.
