The cab of a semi truck caught fire while parked at the Saatkamp residence in the 500 block of 3rd Street in Kell on Wednesday evening.
Kell Firemen arrived on the scene to find the inside of the cab on fire. Firefighters got a quick knockdown, but there was fire, heat, and smoke damage throughout the cab and sleeper.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but the owner was trying to track down an electrical problem. The fire appears to have started in the dash area.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 45 minutes beginning at 7:32 Wednesday evening.
