The Salem Fire Protection District responded to a pickup truck on fire early Tuesday night.
Fire officials say a truck driven by Robert Fulton caught fire after he pulled into the driveway of his home on Route 37 South of Salem. He was able to get out of the truck and keep the fire from spreading with the use of a garden hose. Firemen then extinguished the fire on their arrival.
The fire appeared to have started under the cab.
Moderate damage was reported.
