One person was injured in a single pickup truck crash on Route 37 south of Rileyville Road in rural Dix early Friday night.
Jefferson Fire Protection District officials say Christopher Crawford of Boyd ran off the road, hit a culvert, and rolled the pickup truck.
Crawford was trapped inside. Firemen had to cut off part of the roof of the pickup to get him out. Crawford was then taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon for treatment.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department is handling the crash.
It occurred at 6:20 Friday night.
